Eimetherm and Amprolium

The main active ingredient of the drug Eimeterm is toltrazuril, which adversely affects the respiratory functions of parasitic microorganisms and the mechanism of division of their cells. This causes the inevitable death of parasites. Eimetherm belongs to antibiotics and has a wide range of effects. It can be used to treat most farm animals. The main difference of the drug is that it can be used not only for therapeutic purposes, but also as a prophylaxis even in the absence of disease symptoms in animals.

Features of therapy with Eimeterm 5:

  • single dose;
  • the dose of the suspension depends on the weight of the animal (a certain small amount of the drug is taken per 1 kg of body weight);
  • Eimetherm suspension can be treated rabbits from 4 weeks of age;

After treatment, you can’t use the rabbit for meat for another week. Only after 5-7 days, the medicine will be completely removed from the body of the animal, and its meat will be safe for human consumption.
